Legal Interruption of Pregnancy
The Legal Interruption of Pregnancy consists of the extraction of the contents of the uterus in the first trimester of pregnancy, which can be done through two methods: medical abortion, or abortion with aspiration and curettage.

Interruption of pregnancy with medication / Abortion with pills

In this method of interruption of pregnancy, the evacuation of the contents of the uterus is done through taking oral medication exclusively. The medications used are the pill RU-486 (Mifepristone), and Cytotec (Misoprostol).

It is ambulatory, does not require hospitalization, on the same day that the aspiration procedure is performed, the patient is discharged and can return to normal activities, including work.

The intervention lasts a maximum of 20 minutes. It is very simple, therefore the patient can go home within a few hours.

You have the option of using short-term sedation (intravenous anesthesia) or local anesthesia. This procedure does not affect fertility, recovering the ability to become pregnant one month after the intervention.
